Our founder
Thanh Chau
Founder & Publication Director
Software engineer and long-time dream journaler, Thanh created Noctalia because the most useful dream notes are the ones captured before morning erases them. He leads product and editorial direction, with a focus on clear sources, practical reflection, and honest limits around AI interpretation.
How we create our resources
Our blog articles and guides are written to be clear, practical, and grounded in well-established concepts from sleep research and psychology.
Research-based writing
We consult peer-reviewed studies, clinical guidelines, and established works in dream psychology. When referencing research, we link to the original source (PubMed, APA, university publications).
Expert citations
Our articles cite named researchers and their institutional affiliations — including sleep scientists, psychologists, and dream researchers from Harvard, APA, and other institutions.
Regular updates
Articles are reviewed and updated to reflect new findings. Each article displays its publication and last-modified dates.
Clear boundaries
We distinguish informational content from medical advice. Every article includes a disclaimer, and health-related topics always recommend consulting a qualified professional.
Important: Our content is for informational purposes only and does not replace medical advice.
Privacy & data
Your dream journal is personal. We describe how we process and protect data in our Privacy policy.
